SUPPLIES The sterling silver thimbles are created by Tommie Jane Lane. A patina accents her designs. A durable burnished polish is done in a vibratory tumbler with steel shot in a water-based solution. Her work is unconditionally guaranteed. The designs combine practicality. beauty and suitability for quilting, sewing and collecting.
Tommie also creates related jewelry and works with sterling silver, 18K gold and natural gem stones. Each thimble has its own style/size number. Some designs have variations. Any of the items can be made in 18 karat gold and the price is based on the current fine gold market price.
Size is determined the same as ring sizes. Measure your finger at the base of your nail. I also need to know the length of your finger from the tip to knuckle and if your fingertip is tapered or square. You may order a "+" size if your finger tip is broad. The sterling silver thimbles come in many styles and designs. All styles do not come in all sizes.
